The incorporation of a boiler combustion optimization control system based on the artificial neural networks PID into the existing DCS control system makes it possible to use the advanced software to optimize the boiler parameters collected using the existing PCS control system. Experiments were made with a 300 MKW coal-burning power generator at four load points of 150 MK
220 MK
259 MK and 300 MK covering the normal operating range. Experimental results show that the boiler combustion efficiency can be increased by 1 percent.
