Evaluation of detection, identification and rapid cataloging capabilities for space debris cloud
“The advancement of integrated space monitoring technology has made it possible to quickly catalog new debris. The analysis of the COSMOS-2251/Iridium-33 collision event shows that the space-based optical monitoring constellation can catalog the orbits of over 70% of the new collision debris within one day.”
