A high power air cladding pump microstructure fiber laser with output power exceeded 10 W was demonstrated using Fabry-Perot resonance cavity configuration. The output power and slope efficiency of the double-clad ytterbium-doped large mode-area microstructure fiber laser are 8.38 W and 87%
respectively
and the highest output power can achieve to 11.69 W.
