Spatial diversity technology can overcome this impact effectively. To suppress the scintillation of atmospheric turbulence over a 12.7 km urban horizontal channel， a spatial diversity receiving and transmitting system was designed. The suppression effects of maximum ratio combining scheme， equal gain combining scheme and selective combining scheme for diversity reception were compared and verified. The results show that the equal gain combination scheme has simple engineering implementation and an obvious suppression effect. Compared with single-channel signal， the scintillation index can reduce to 40.1%. Finally， according to the change of scintillation index throughout a day， the variations of atmospheric refractive index structure constant are inversed. The trend is consistent with the simulation result of PAMELA model. diversity technology turbulence suppression diversity merging 1 引　言 1 自由空间光通信是一种以激光作为载波，在真空或者大气中进行信息传输的技术，具有其通信速率高、通信距离长、抗干扰性强和功耗低等优点 ［ 1 1 - 4 4 1-4 ］ 。然而，该技术容易受到大气湍流的影响，大气湍流会引起光强闪烁、光束漂移、到达角起伏和相位畸变等效应 ［ 5 5 - 7 7 5-7 ］ 。其中，闪烁效应造成的影响尤为严重。目前，闪烁效应抑制方法有多孔径发射、大功率发射、大孔径接收、自适应光学技术补偿、部分相干光传输技术和分集接收技术等。 2008年，马晶团队 ［ 8 8 ］ 建立了一条11.8 km的光链路来研究激光束在大气湍流中传输的光强闪烁现象。根据实测到达角实验数据计算了折射率结构常数的变化，并与闪烁指数的日变化曲线进行了比较。2010年，Ellerbroek ［ 9 9 ］ 等在欧空局地面站开展星地激光通信实验，他们采用自适应光学系统补偿大气湍流产生的不良影响，基本消除了由湍流引起的静态波阵面误差。2019年，Soni等 ［ 10 10 ］ 研究了不同降雨强度下自由空间光链路的性能，分析了大孔径技术对湍流的抑制作用，提出的接收机孔径平均技术能够补偿降雨引起的信号衰减，平均信噪比提高了1.58 dB。2020年，王蕊 ［ 11 11 ］ 研究了部分相干四瓣椭圆高斯涡旋光对大气湍流的抑制作用。实验发现，光束阶数越小、椭圆因子和拓扑电荷数越大，光束的传输质量越好，光强受湍流的影响越小，该方法对大气湍流具有明显的抑制效果。2021年，周畅 ［ 12 12 ］ 等提出了一种基于雪崩光电二极管（Avalanche Photo Diode， APD）自适应增益控制的激光传输终端大气湍流抑制方法，APD自适应增益控制技术在弱湍流条件下使光强闪烁方差从0.057降至0.023，并大大降低了系统误码率，明显抑制了湍流引起的信号功率波动。但上述方法会增加设计成本，不仅接收端载荷过大，而且软硬件较为复杂。 空间分集技术相比于其他湍流抑制技术，实现简单且成本相对较低 ［ 13 13 ］ 。2011年柯熙政团队 ［ 14 14 ］ 设计了三孔径空间激光通信接收系统，利用Gamma-Gamma信道模型分别对强弱湍流下误码率进行模拟。模拟计算结果表明，空间分集接收对大气湍流的闪烁效应有很好的抑制作用。2015年，柯熙政团队 ［ 15 15 ］ 进一步对分集接收技术进行仿真，分析了不同信道参数和接收天线数下不同合并方案的差错性能，仿真结果表明，最大合并方案性能最优，选择合并方案最差。2016年，韩立强等 ［ 16 16 ］ 建立了多输入多输出模型，理论分析了不同天气和湍流条件对通信链路的影响，仿真结果显示，增大发射和接收孔径的数量，可明显提高通信系统性能，减小大气湍流和大气衰减效应对自由空间光通信的影响。2020年，江伦等 ［ 17 17 ］ 建立了7 km城市水平信道，实验验证了多孔径发射与不同尺寸接收口径对大气湍流的抑制作用，同时验证了闪烁指数与大气折射率结构常数变化的关系。 本文针对自由空间光通信系统接收端载荷受限的情况，进一步设计了空间分集方案，实验构建了分集发射与接收系统，搭建了12.7 km水平信道，验证了分集发射与分集接收的湍流闪烁抑制作用。通过闪烁指数的全天变化，对比了不同合并方案对湍流闪烁的抑制效果。实验结果表明，空间分集技术提高了激光通信信噪比，有效抑制了大气湍流的光强闪烁影响。在空间激光通信中，空间分集技术既能够有效抑制湍流影响，还可以降低设计难度，对于提高通信质量有着重要意义。 2 基本原理 1 当激光经过尺寸远大于自身的湍流后，大小不一的湍流涡旋相当于多个透镜，使通过的激光产生散射、衍射和反射等现象，并且在接收平面上发生干涉造成光信号强度在时间及空间内随机起伏，这种现象就是大气湍流闪烁效应。 大气湍流闪烁效应使激光束远场波前功率分布不再服从高斯分布，远场的光斑功率在时域和空域上表现比较强烈的波动，而激光通信接收口径有限，会引起接收光信号的强度起伏。另外，大气湍流会引起波前畸变，使成像在APD探测器的光斑出现散斑效应，可能大于APD有效光敏元，同样会引起光强波动。大气湍流闪烁效应主要对通信接收单元产生影响，接收光强波动引起接收单元的信噪比出现起伏，进而影响通信的误码率。 所示。空间分集接收系统是将多个天线在空间上分开一定距离，让同时发出的信号通过多个相互独立的信道传输，使接收到的信号受大气湍流的影响互不相关，通过对多组携带相同信息却互不相关信号进行处理以提高信噪比，有效抑制大气湍流引起的光强起伏。信号处理常用的合并方案有最大比合并（Maximal Ratio Combining，MRC）、等增益合并（Equal Gain 这种合并方案更容易实现，但合并时对其他支路信号的舍弃造成了资源浪费，效果也不如另外两种合并方案。 3 实验系统搭建 1 为了验证空间分集技术的湍流抑制能力，在长春市内建立了城市水平实验链路，发射及接收装置实物如 图3 图3 所示。通信链路全长12.7 km，发射系统位于长春理工科技大厦16楼，接收系统位于长春净月公园山顶，整个链路经过高层楼宇、河流、树林等复杂地形。 3.1　分集发射实验 2 采用如 图3 图3 所示的四孔径发射系统，对多孔径发射性能进行验证。发射天线孔径为50 mm，发散角为0.5 mrad，每个发射天线均配有双光楔，并将4路天线调整同轴。实验选用1 550 nm激光器，由掺铒光纤放大器（EDFA）放大后通过一分四光纤分束器，再由光纤传输给四路发射天线。 根据发射天线间隔大于相干长度 <math id="M28"><mroot><mrow><mi>λ</mi><mi>L</mi></mrow><mrow/></mroot></math> http://html.publish.founderss.cn/rc-pub/api/common/picture?pictureId=25417443&type= http://html.publish.founderss.cn/rc-pub/api/common/picture?pictureId=25417442&type= 7.45066643 4.14866638 的理论，实验链路为12.7 km，传输激光波长为1 550 nm的情况下，相干长度为139.75 mm。因此，实验时选用最外圈4个发射天线，相邻发射天线间的距离为370 mm，远大于相干长度，确保发射端相邻两束激光不会发生干涉。 3.2　分集接收实验 2 接收系统如 图4 图4 所示，对分集接收性能进行验证。接收端采用大靶面探测器，探测器数为3，探测器靶面尺寸为0.8 mm，接收镜头焦距为16 mm，视场为2.9°，接收口径为10 mm。为了抑制湍流闪烁影响，相邻接收天线间的距离应大于139.75 mm，并且适应接收端载荷受限情况，设计相邻接收天线间距离为155 mm。接收端中间布有监控相机，用于通信对准，并记录实验时的接收视场内情况。从 图4 图4 （b）中可以清晰看到接收视场中包含较高楼宇，通信链路情况复杂。 实验于2019年1月24日开展，每隔半小时进行一次通信实验，每次持续3 min，采集通信光信号并计算闪烁指数，对通信链路的湍流情况进行全天连续监测。 4 结果与讨论 1 4.1　分集发射实验 2 12.7 km水平信道链路中，选用20时的测试结果进行分析，不同发射天线数量对湍流的抑制效果如 图5 图5 所示。由概率分布图可以更明显观察不同发射天线数量下光强闪烁的变化。计算不同发射天线数量下采集的光信号平均强度及闪烁指数，结果如 表1 表1 所示。 Number of transmitting apertures Average intensity/nA Scintillation index 1 可知，随着发射天线数量的增加，接收平均光信号强度增大。4个发射天线时的接收功率比单发射孔径时只增大了73.4%，但闪烁指数下降了67%。随着发射天线数量的增加，闪烁指数越来越小，表明接收端光强起伏随着发射天线数量的增加而减小。从 图5 图5 （a）可以看出，单发射天线情况下闪烁指数最大（0.551 1），概率密度函数接近负指数分布，这表明在接收端接收的光强信号中存在大量的接近于零值的采样点，这些采样点对应了接收端接收光强的深度衰落。从图 5（b） 5（b） ~ 5（d） 5（d） 可以看出，随着闪烁指数的减小，概率密度函数分布逐渐趋于对数正态分布，满足 图1 图1 的模拟结果。当发射天线数为4时，接收端接收的光强的深度衰落明显减小。结果表明，分集发射技术可以有效地抑制大气湍流引起的光强闪烁效应。 4.2　分集接收实验 2 实验采用分集接收系统对通信链路的湍流情况进行全天连续监测。为了验证不同合并方案的湍流抑制效果，选择当日13：00的测试数据组进行分析。 图6 图6 为3种不同合并方案下的光强概率分布。 由 图6 图6 （a）可以明显看出，SC方案下的光强概率分布仍存在大量接近零值的采样点，这种方案舍掉了未被选择的支路信号，造成资源浪费，对湍流的抑制效果最差。如图 6（b） 6（b） ~ 6（c） 6（c） 所示，相比于SC方案，MRC方案和EGC方案的抑制效果明显提升，EGC方案的闪烁指数为0.334 4，MRC方案的闪烁指数为0.328 8。这两种方法的抑制效果相差不大，但MRC方案的实现过程更复杂，为工程应用带来一定困难。因此，EGC方案实现简单，抑制效果明显，更适用于工程应用。 为了进一步验证EGC方案的抑制效果，对全天的实验数据进行分析，得到不同合并方案下全天闪烁指数的变化，如 图7 图7 所示。SC性能最差，但相比于单路信号有一定改善，闪烁指数平均下降了14.8%。MRC性能最好，闪烁指数相比于单路平均下降了59.9%，但相比EGC下降的59.5%，优势并不明显。通过闪烁指数随时间的变化可以看出，随着中午温度的升高，温度变化率为全天最强，10时到14时闪烁指数出现最大值。通过闪烁指数的全天变化可以看出，采用分集接收能够明显改善湍流的光强闪烁影响。在空间激光通信中，空间分集技术对于提高通信质量有着重要意义。 5 闪烁指数与大气折射率结构常数模拟 1 为了更好地研究大气折射率结构常数与闪烁指数的关系，首先利用Kolmogorov折射率起伏功率谱 ［ 19 19 - 20 20 19-20 ］ 对实验全天闪烁指数进行反演，得到大气折射率结构常数的全天变化。采用PAMELA模型对通信链路的大气折射率结构常数进行模拟。PAMELA模型是一种多输入参数的大气折射率结构常数模型，输入参数包括经纬度、日期、云覆盖比、地形类型、温度和风速等 ［ 21 21 - 22 22 21-22 ］ 。 实验建立的12.7 km城市水平链路，发射端坐标为（43.83°E，125.31°N），海拔高度为548 m；接收端坐标为（43.79°E，125.45°N），海拔高度为364 m。对发射端的大气折射率结构常数进行模拟，结果如 图8 图8 所示。整个链路地形复杂，包括高层楼宇、河流、树林等，因此需要对路径上的模拟结果进行积分，结合当日风速及温度变化（ 表2 表2 ），得到12.7 km链路的平均大气折射率结构常数的模拟结果，如 图9 图9 中红线所示（彩图见期刊电子版）。 Time 7 -15 1 20 -8 2 8 -13 1 21 -8 2 9 -11 1 22 -9 2 10 -8 2 对全天闪烁值进行反演，结果如 图9 图9 所示。对比图中两条曲线，大气折射率结构常数的变化与闪烁指数的反演结果趋势相符，模拟结果与反演结果都为中强度湍流，且变化范围都是10 - 16 。 图9 图9 中分别在9时和16时附近出现零值，为模型未修正的结果，在今后的研究中将进一步对模型进行修正。因此，可使用天气预报参数，利用PAMELA模型预测该链路的湍流情况。 6 结　论 1 本文通过实验验证了空间分集技术对大气湍流闪烁效应的抑制作用，搭建了12.7 km的城市水平信道，信道通过高层建筑物，河流和森林等复杂城市地形。首先验证了多孔径发射系统对光强闪烁的改善，4个发射天线情况下，对湍流的抑制作用明显，4个发射天线时的接收功率比单发射孔径时增大了73.4%，闪烁指数下降了67%。在分集接收性能验证中，采用三探测器接收系统，分别进行SC、EGC和MRC，对比了不同合并方案的闪烁抑制性能，其中EGC方案工程实现简单，抑制效果明显，相比于单路信号闪烁指数可降低至40.1%。最后，利用PAMELA模型模拟了通信链路的大气折射率结构常数变化曲线，模拟结果与闪烁反演结果趋势相同，对湍流环境预报具有重要意义。
