This paper Reviews the researoh and development of aerodynamic lubrication in precison instruments. The research and application of aerodynamic lubrication in precision instruments were.earest in the application on the region of gas lubrication. Aerodynamic lulication had been successfully used in Gyros and in the first satellite of U.S.A. There are many Successful examples of application in precision instruments recent years. For example in the magnetic drum or magnetic head of large type electronic computor and the laser printer. This paper had deen written in order to promote the application of these advanced teehniques in civil precision instruments of our country. It contains the charactrics of aerodynamic lulrication
