The glass formation regions of the seven Aluminofluoropho sphate ternary systems [R

]have been studied. FT-IR

DTA and ESCA techniques are used to investigate the fundamental properties
structure and crystalli-sation mechanism of Mg(PO
systems. A new for-mula used to calculate the activation energy and the Avrami exponent is derived.
