The pyramid mirror is widely used in laser recording and typesetting. This paper analyzes

according to the prism adjustment theory

the assembling errors and the influences of the rotary errors on scanning the image position

discusses the properties of scanning error caused by different error sources and gives some methods to solve these problems.
