The spectral measurement set-up that uses an acousto-optic tunable filter[AOTF]as its dispersive element is reported in this paper

its spectrum scan is controlled by a microcomputer.The measurement results with this set-up are given

advantages and disadvantages for using AOTF in spectral measurement are analyzed and discussed.
