A new technology used in inductosyn measurement
sliding scale software relay is studied in this paper.With the approach of static scale exciting and phase identifying
the technology can be used for long distance and high precisiion measurement.Finally
dynamic transmission error measurement results on a five meter lead screw grinding machine show that the proposed technology is feasible.
