In pace with the development of optoelectronic surveillance
tracking and reconnaissance systems
the requirement for image stabilization becomes more and more important. In fact
the image unstabilization is caused by displacement between the LOS of camera and the objects
including translation and angle rotation
in which
the rotation has special influence on images. The paper discusses two kinds of available image stabilization methods and the modern may for electronic stabilization
and also gives analysis on the platform stabilization method and key technical problems in the applications of the electronic stabilization methods.
