Research on single-ring absolute encoder and its applications
Single-ring absolute encoder is one of the latest techniques in the world. The method using black-white stripe to encode in single ring absolute encoder has made a breakthrough in the conventional encoding principle. The absolute encoder can be implemented by sensor fusion
image processing
computer control
etc. In this paper
the fundamental principle and theoretical basis of the single-ring absolute encoder are specified
and the system hardware design is illustrated. The experimental results show that both the system design and its theoretical basis are correct.
