    • Regional gradient dimming strategy for low-power silicon-based OLED microdisplays

    • Technology News Express: In response to the power consumption issue of near eye display devices, experts have proposed a region gradient dimming algorithm that adapts to the viewpoint of human eyes. This algorithm achieves a reduction in power consumption while maintaining the image display effect by improving the human visual model and contrast enhancement algorithm. The experimental results show that applying this algorithm on silicon-based OLED microdisplays reduces power consumption by 23.05%, meeting the requirements of low-power display and providing guidance for improving display performance.
