A compact TEA-CO

laser with a semiconductor plate preionizor has been designed. Single-way plus trigger control plus discharge system simplifys the TEA-CO

laser. The constructure design details and operation characteristic study results are presented in this paper. With this laser

maximum laser plus output can reach 25J/L

maximum peak power exceeds 6MW.
