Abstract

Due to the wide spectral responsivity and the excellent performance

the photodiode with Al

photocathode is often used as a transfer standard detector of soft X-ray and Vacuum Ultraviolet spectral range. This paper describes the operating principle and the structure of Al

photodiode developed in our Lab

as well as its manufacturing technology

discusses the method and equipment for the performance evaluation of the Al

photodiode

and gives the measurement results.
