This paper

discusses a new method to read the dot pattern information which uses CCD matrix camera to acquire image and adopts the analyzing methods of digital image-processing techniques. This method can be uses! to read the dot pattern information of any kind of high-speed photograph and cine theodolite film accurately and quickly. More over the reading system has a high cost performance ratio. In this paper the working principle of the CCD dot pattern information reading system is analyzed first

and then the processing method of dot pattern image is discussed in detail

at last the method to improve reading accuracy is listed.
