In order to probe if there has measuring precision difference between Roundness Measuring Instrument and V-tape Method in measuring roundness
the article compares the two methods for measuring the axis'roundness on the principle and precision. The two methods are used to measure the roundness of the same axis neck and two groups of measuring results are obtained .From the measuring results we can conclude that the measuring precision of the two methods has the same magnitude order.
