the structural parameters of four kinds of materials used in fabricating light-weighted mirror for space camera were analyzed. These materials are ULE、Zerodur
Be and silicon carbide (SiC). The properties of the four kinds of materials were compared with each other. Then two kinds of light-weighted mirrors with sandwich and open back structures were also compared. The results show that the better material for space mirror is the SiC and the better structure for space mirror is sandwich structure. The SiC mirror with 500 mm and sandwich strcture according to the structural parameters was fabricated.
