The aviation camera is an airborne precision optical instrument

and the environment parameters of high altitude such as temperature

especially brought the transformation of focus.In order to acquire the vivid image

the real-time and precise autofousing technology is very necessary. The paper introduced a method of autofocusing with automatic calibration

and the relationships of grating constant，the circumvolve velocity of reflector and response time of receive component were analyzed

in addition the direction of grating and the position of focus plane were discussed

at last the choose of lamp-house for autofocusing were researched. The method of autofocusing with automatic calibration were used in some type aviation camera

and which was satisfied the request

and acquired good image.
