针对现有光空间调制空间资源利用率较低、传输速率不理想等问题,本文将线性弥散码与光空间调制相结合,提出了一种广义空时脉冲位置调制(Generalized Space-time Pulse Position Modulation,GSTPPM)方案。详细介绍了广义空时弥散矩阵映射和脉冲位置调制映射原理,采用球形译码算法完成了信号检测。在此基础上,推导了GSTPPM方案的理论误码率表达式,并利用蒙特卡洛法将所提方案与现有的光空间调制方案进行了对比。仿真结果表明:当激光器数目和调制阶数固定时,GSTPPM方案的传输速率明显高于空间复用、光空间脉冲位置调制和广义光空间脉冲位置调制。当传输速率相同时,(2,4,4)-GSTPPM的误码率明显优于(32,4,4)-光空间脉冲位置调制和(5,4,4)-广义光空间脉冲位置调制。当BER=10

时,前者的信噪比比后者分别改善了约7 dB和5.5 dB。
To overcome the low space resource utilization and limited transmission rate of traditional optical spatial modulation
a Generalized Space-time Pulse Position Modulation (GSTPPM) scheme was proposed by combining a linear dispersion code with optical spatial modulation. The principles of generalized space-time dispersion matrix mapping and pulse position modulation mapping were introduced in detail. In addition
Signal detection was performed by using a sphere decoding algorithm. The theoretical bit error rate (BER) expression for the GSTPPM scheme was derived
and the performance of the proposed scheme was compared with existing optical spatial modulation schemes by using the Monte Carlo method. When the number of lasers and the modulation order are fixed
the results show that the transmission rate of the GSTPPM scheme is significantly higher than that of spatial multiplexing
spatial pulse position modulation (SPPM)
and generalized spatial pulse position modulation (GSPPM). At the same transmission rate
