gravity acceleration. The displacements and strains for every element and node are calculated by means of ANSYS program

Because the solid model of the main mirror is created

the exact weight of the main mirror is gained automatically. The results show that the present design is satisfiedwith the requirements and still has some tolerance to reduce the weight. The displacementand strains of external supporting are less than the ones of internal supporting. The analysisresults have important value for improving the main mirror design.
