Image sensor is the key component in image monitoring systems. CMOS digital color/black and white sensor and digital signal processor constitute a minimum system of digital vidicon
which replaces analog vidicon
and can be used to collect image information. The paper introduces the structure and principle of digital imaging technology based on CMOS digital sensor. In light of the power system
the applications and the development of digital imaging technology in real-time image monitoring systems are clarified.
