The R-C system of Cassegrain focus needs a corrector for extending the effective field with good image quality. The restuls of optimization sensitively depends on the focal ratio of the primary mirror of the telescope. Four sets of correctors were designed for various F/# of the primary mirror of a 2-meter telescope:F/3
F/2.5
F/2 and F/1.5. The optimized spots of each corrector are:0.29
0.418
0.934 and 1 784 arcsec
respectively. The conclusion is that for the F/3 primary it is very easy to design the field corrector
but if the primary F/# goes down to F/2.5
the corrector should be more complicated than to use two elements.
