Abstract:Determined the proper recording parameters with our calculation method and produced an aberration-reduced toroidal holographic grating. Experimental results of the toroidal holographic grating was presented.
Abstract:A new method of macrotextural analysis using run length histogram is introduced. The method can be used to extract effictive features of macrotexture directly from images. The adaptive threshold and the average shape are keys to over-come difficulties of segmentation and describtion of textures. Those are described in detail in the paper and an experimental study in which the grasses were classified successfuly is also given. The accuracy of the classification can reach up 90%. The method introduced in the paper is intuitive and simple to use. It could be applied to industrial automation, robot and other fields where the time for image processing and pattern recognition is very strict.
Abstract:Using certain simplification and approximation, this paper analyses the measures for improving the uniformity of illuminance of integrating sphere used for the measurement of veiling glare Index(VGI) and light distribution over the field of photographic objectives from the basic theories about the integrating sphere. Experiments and discussions are presented in combination with the development of ZG-2 VGI measurement instrument. It has been shown that the key may of improving the uniformity is to make use of a Lambertian-like source as the illuminance source. By careful consideration and approaches the deviation in the uniformity over half of an integrating sphere of diameter of 1.6 meter can be less than ?3 percent which is much better than the requirement of draft proposal for ISO standard.
Abstract:This paper represents technological problems in the development of LEBT beam transformers with native materials. A variaty of attamps has been taken to prevent the LEBT from the descent of its magnetism, and certain experiences have been obtained, which make the performance of the beam transformers better than that of similar types in both China and other Countries.
Abstract:In this paper, the status of the research of High-Definition TV and High-Definition TV camera tabe in the world are reviewed. The issues for the research in the High-Definition TV in China from now on are proposed.
Abstract:A new version of an intensified charge-coupled device(ICCD)system, which is based on the incorporation of a CsI mesh photocathode and a thinned backside-illuminated CCD into a Space Telescope design Digicon tube,is being developed for future use in spacebased observations in the Extreme Ultraviolet waveband. In this paper, we report the results of computer simulations involving the effects of the nan-uniform electrostatic field near the mesh photocathode on imaging properties(especially, the spread function and modulation transfer function) of the detector system. The results are of importance in the design of the front end of the tube and the selection of optimum tube operating conditions. The overall resolution characteristics of the tube, including the effects of the mesh, the electron optics of the region between the mesh photocathode and the CCD target, and the structure of the CCD itself, are estimated.
