Abstract:The main topics discussed in this paper are soft X-ray plasma sources, multilayer soft X-ray mirrors and soft X-ray microscopes. The powerful, laboratory soft X-ray plasma sousces offer some advantages over synchrotron radiation in terms of smaller physical size, lower cost, large beam size and higher flux per pulse. Recently developed multilayer coatings permit use of normal incidence optics for soft X-ray promissing a resolution that should be substainlly better than that obtained with grazing incidence optics. Soft X-ray microscope has provided a new tool for analyzing biological specimens and filled the gap existing between two well developed instruments, the optical ane the electron microscopes.
Abstract:A method for picking up the soft X-ray image dirctly by using a low density cesium bromide target in basis on an investigation of the soft X-ray photoemissicn has been proposed. An experimental system for quasi-real time picking up of the soft X-ray image which uses a non-synchrotron radiation soft X-ray source has been described. The performances of this soft X-ray camera tube and some primary applications have been given.

Abstract:Microchannel plate (MCP) may be used as an imaging detector at the focal plane of a X-ray telescope which is uaually responded to irradiation of the celestial body in soft X-ray region. The imging performance and other related performances of the MCP in soft X-ray region has been measured experimentally. The resolution of MCP-screen proximity focus system has been measured at 4. 47nm and compared with the calculating result. A new method for measurement of the. electron gain of the MCP which uses the soft X-ray photoemission as a primary electron source has been proposed. The advantages of this new method arethe measurement can be repeated many times with one photocathode, the results accurate and well repeatable, the measurement process is convenient. The quantum efficiency of the MCP as a function of the incident angle at two wavelengths has been measured.
Abstract:In this paper the structure and the operating principle of a lowpower ultra-soft X-ray source are described and the measurement results of the source are shown. The choice of the operating voltage is discussed. Eight targets made of different material are mounted on a carrying wheel which may be turned and are bombarded in turn by the electrons with high-velocity, and so the characteristic line spectra of eight kinds of elements are obtained. By using this X-ray source we have obtained the K,, characteristic line spectra of aluminum(8.34Å), carbon (44.7Å)and boron(67.6Å). The performances of this X-ray source are as follows: (1)The operating wavelength region-10-67 a. (2)The target power: 12 mW. (3)The target voltage: 500-4000V. (4)The radiation intensity of this source is variable in the range of 10-106 photons/second/steradian. The electron(primary)excitation mode is adopted in this source. It doesn't require any cooling because of the low power(12mW).
Abstract:In this paper a mathematical model based on finite element method for calculating stresses in optical glass during its annealing under various technical conditions with microcomputer is introduced. Finally, the inhomogenity of refractive index and birefringece caused by the stress are calculated according to stress states of optical glass in three dimensions
Abstract:In this paper influential factors duriing linear annealing and temperature responses of optical glass blocks are, discussed, A simple expression function of temperature distribution as quasi-stable state in finite glass blocks is represented.
Abstract:In this paper a consideration about the transfer way of heat in the chamber of optical glass fine annealng leer is introduced. The relation between the temperature (for empty leer) at any point and the temperature of chamber walls are discussed.
Abstract:This paper describes the researched results about the MTF variances of a camera lens by virtue of the object distances, and recommends to use the MTF values of the lens under closest focusing distance also as an evaluating index of the lens image quality.
Abstract:In order to establish a quantitative relationship between the gray scale density of films in model DGP-ⅡA multispectral band camera and the radiance of terrain subjects imaged on the film, we fabricated and calibrated a group of simple radiance-meters corresponding to the 4-spectral bands of the camera. When taking the photographs of the standard ground subjects, we at the same time measured their radiations for each band by means of the radiance-meters, then calculated the radiance of the ground subjects corresponding to the film density and calibrated the gray scale of the films with considerations of the spectral response of the films and the transmittance of the filters.
Abstract:This paper describes the characters of various types of anti-reflection coatings on Si cells, analyzes two-layer anti-reflection coatings for both (λ0)/4 and anti (λ0)/4 thickness, introduces some results about design, technology and experiment for TiO2-SiO2 and TiO2-Al2O3 two-layer anti-reflection coatings. The results show that this type of coating is solid and stable and it makes Si solaode obtain higher optoelectionic transformation efficiency.
