Abstract:This paper describes the importance of controlling aluminum film thickness for ruling diffraction gratings and gives a method to mark the aluminum film thickness with thickness factor. It also represents the influences of aluminum film thickness on blazed efficiencies of the ruling diffraction gratings and provides proper ranges of the thickness factors. These results have been used in production.
Abstract:It is a special application to establish a long optical reference for measuring relative angle between measurement instruments in optical engineering. This paper discusses main problems in design. The results tested from an actual 16m optical reference show that the angular stability is better than 2" and the resonant frequency is higher than 50 Hz.
Abstract:This paper introduces a method for the measurement of stress of thin film. In this method a long focal distance microscope is used and deformation of the thin film on thin glass sheet is observed. Basic structures of a practical device, measuring principle and main means for improving the measurement accuracy are described in detail. Finally, experimental results showing changes of the stresses for ZnS, MgF2 and ZnS-MgF2 films along with film thicknesses in various vacuum and evaporation velocity rates have been gain.
Abstract:A method to recover misdeleted files on IBM PC/XT and PC/AT computers is discussed. Conditions by which the files can be recovered completely or partly are presented. Finally, steps for recovering the files on fixed and flexible disks are illustrated with some examples.
Abstract:Becance of the application of micro computer system to the semi-automatic filmreader has successed, which makes the characteristics of the instrument, including accuracy, reliability, flexbility and so on, be greatly improved. Some new ideas are adapted in the wark for example, several kinds of language are used in the desige of the program and data are stored in a two-dimensional table way, so that the instrument is quite easy to operate and the users are interested in it.
Abstract:In this paper a method for measuring the refractive index of optical glass automatically is introduced. By this method the refractive index in a wide range ultraviolet, visible and infrared can be measured automatically. When the light source is stable, the accuracy of measurement in visible range can reach?3?10-6. This method is based on the principle of minimum deviation angle. The exact position of the minimum deviation angle is traced by a detector guided by outside refrection image. Then the refractive index of sample can be given. In the measurement system, the automatic control, data collection and meesuring process are totally completed by a microcomputer. This method can be also used to measure angle automatically.
Abstract:This paper describes the design calculation and the performance experiment of the orientation mechanism. It includes the design of the drive system, the parameter selection, the calculation of torque and inertia moment, the selection of material and lubrication. Moreover, there are mechanical experiment, space simulation and its data in this paper.
Abstract:In this paper some characteristics of platinum are introduced. Based on the experience in melting optical glasses, how to increase the using period of platinum crucible is also discussed.
Abstract:We report high pressure H2 Raman shifter. Using YAG Double-Frequency output 0.532μm as a pump source, we obtained an overall energy convertion up to 65% and observed AS6(2288A) and S4(4.65μm). It provides an idea converting setup from UV to IF.
Abstract:This paper briefly explains main reasons and unfavourable factors for inclination of image plane. A principle for correcting the inclination of image plane by using inclination of objective lens is described. Related formulae are given and existential problems are discussed.
