Abstract:This paper discusses a new method to apply Fizeau interferometry. The principle is based on that the total intensity of an interferogram is a function of wavefront error. When the standard surface vibrates along the optical axis, this will change the wavefront aberration and also total intensity of the interferogram. Then we can get Strehl ratio and variation of wavefront error from intensity function.
Abstract:A method based on gas absorption and least-square fit is developed for measuring the stray Light in vacuum ultraviolet monochromators. Measurements of stray light in a N-100 Vacuum ultraviolet monochromator are carried out in the region 1650—1750Å.
Abstract:An automatic control system for measuring temperature coefficient of refractive index are described in this paper The uaccum furnace car, provide a stable temperature field Both the rate ot rising and droping temperature and degree of uaccum contorm to the technical needs Especially the linear automatical control of droping the temperature by semiconductor cooling is a new trial.
Abstract:This peper reports the research results of the abrupt change of electric conductivity in the system of Nb2Q5-B2O3-K2O. The question of substance of this phenominon is explained by the effect of interface. Furter the possible reason for that the amorphous state has the higher electric conductivity than the crystalline state with the same composition is also given.
Abstract:This paper describes the principle of the polarimetric method for determining the thickness and index of thin films. The method has been applied to measure the physical chemistry properties of glass surfaces.
Abstract:In this paper an automatic data sampling system in an instrument for measuring the temperature coefficient of refractive index is introduced. Using this system the measured precision of interference fringe and temperature are±0.06 and±0.5℃ respectively. These results meet the meet of accuracy(±5×10-7/℃)of temperature coefficient of refraetive index.
Abstract:In this paper plots of thermal expansion of all sorts of chinese optiocal glasses ranging from -100 to 450℃ are shoum. According to the national standard the coefficients of mean linear thermal expansion in the range of fixed temperature, transformation temperature, density, young’s modulus, torsional rigidity modulus and poisson’s ratio of optical glasses are given. The data provided here could be useful to the related scientists and engineers.
Abstract:In this paper, glass forming region in quaternary system B2O3—La2O3—BaO—Nb2O5 is determined when composition of B2O3 is 25,30. and 35wt% respectivelly. The refractive index dispersion and density of the glasses in the system were measured. Experimental results indicated that the glass forming region was shifted to poor—Nb2O5 region with increasing of composition of B2O3. The vaoriting law of crystallizing, refractive index, dispersion and density of the glasses are discussed when SiO2and Al2O3 is substituted for B2O3 and BaO respectivelly. New optical glass La K713/538 has been developed on the basis of this work.
