Abstract:This paper first studied the structure of nioboborate glass melts by high temperature Raman spectra and high temperature IR spectra. The experimental results indicated that the BⅢ-O-BⅣ bond is very unstable in the boric glass. Under the heating field the bond BⅢ-O-BⅣ is converted to a stable big-mixing π bond or broken down. When Nb2O5 is added the [NbO6] and [NbO4]will replace [BO3] and compose the structure network of glass. In this work the structure model of nioboborate glass melts was established.

Abstract:In this paper a new explanation of optical nonlinearity of band- filling in semiconductors for different recombinations was introduced and a new kind of nonlinear optical glass with CdxSe1-x doped semiconductor was reported. The influence of temperature and time of heat—treatment on microcrystal diameter and spectral characteristic was studied. The quantum-confined effect at 35Å-80Å average diameter were also observed. The relation between the microcrystal size and quantum-confined effect was obtained.
Abstract:In this paper the transmission function properties of Fabry-Perot interferometer is analyzed by the convolution equation of transmission function when linewidth of input laser is not equal to zero. The full width of transmission function at half maximum is broadened and the visibility is reduced because of the instrumental linewidth and the periodicity of transmission function. The method for measuring laser linewidth using the fullwidth of transmission function at maximum is not strict, it must satisfy some limiting conditions. The limiting conditions for measuring laser linewidth using the full width transmission function at maximum are given.

Abstract:With the reasonable growth parameters we have successfully made single CaF2 crystal of different diameters with high quality and quantities using Bridgman-Stockbarger technique and multi-crucibles. The rate of finished product is higher than that made with single crucible by nearly 70%. It is valuable for mass-production, growthperiod reduction and economic profit.
Abstract:This paper presents a simple and efficient method for the design of soft X-ray multilayered coating and discusses the relevant techneques such as substrate preparation and film thickness control etc. X-ray small angle diffraction measurement results and soft X-ray reflectance measurement results at 171Å, 231Å and 256Å were given in detail. Finally the future development for soft X-ray multilayered coatings was commented.

Abstract:The moving error in the grating interferometer can change interference fringes according to the principle of half-wave phase difference plane. In this paper the moving error formula for grating interferometer is derived. It may provide a basis for designing and using the grating interferometer.

Abstract:In this paper a review is given for the image quality test and evaluation of the microscopic objectives and a method of OTF measurement is suggested in which the star image is directly scanned by a slit for sampling the line spread function and transfered into a microcomputer numerically through a A/D converter for FFT calculation to obtain the OTF. The structure of the instrument and the measurement method are described. The performenee examination of the instrument and several examples are presented.
Abstract:This paper describes a method for developing a 30? regular conical cavity for the active cavity radiometer sensor on the solar constant monitor. The main feature is to select a soluble material with superior process behavior and then it is processed into a 30皉egular conical mould. The copper with 0.1mm thickness is electrodeposited on its surface followed by polishing, cutting and mould solving to form a conical cavity with 0.05mm-thick copper.
Abstract:This paper describes several precision control systems of the servorulling and pre-formatting machine. They are the spindle servo, the microfeed carriage drive, the focus servo and the laser control. This paper also describes the way of clock operation, the rulling experiments on the optical disc and their results, it is showed that the accuracy of track pitch is 1.6μm+0.1μm.
Abstract:In this paper the approach and the procedure to complete the TV camera zoom lens design by means of CAE technique have been stated. The solid modeling for all parts has been created in terms of the concept design of CAE. The files which give the attributes such as volume weight, center of gravity moment of inertia, product of inertia for every part are generated. Based on the weight and center of gravity gained from each part the program is compiled with FOTRAN and AI for calculating the center of gravity and the center of gravity shift. The center of gravity shift curve is showed. The proper balance position is indicated. The system center of gravity is computed with different materials (aluminium, invar). The computation offers a reliable standard for modification. Finally all drawings for optical and mechanical parts and assemblies are drafted with computer and plotter. It is due to using the CAE technique the optimization in every designing step can be carried out for many times. By this way the design can be successfully finished within one period. This is a fine example in which the CAE technique has been perfectly used in our institute.
