Review of"Development and Strategy in Optics and Optoelectronics"
Abstract：The report of developmental and strategic study in optics and optoelectronics has been finished, after more than two year's investigation, by a group of developmental and strategic study of Committee of National Natural Science Foundation of China.The article described report's formational process, constructional characteristics and contents of branch subject, etc. It shows that the report's contents are overall with stressing the main points, correct argu- ment and brilliant exposion, and can be used as a refrence for the personnals in science, education and management.- 29

Star Simulator
Abstract：The star tracker, which provides precise coordinates of the guided stars for spacecraft navigation, must be tested and calibrated in groud laboratory to evaluate its peformance before space mission. The star simulator is needed to carry out the evaluation task. This paper introduces the principle and scheme of the star simulator, describes simulating theory and implementation approrch of geometrical and power spectral characteristics and briefly describes some topics related to the primary objective design.- 40

Near Resonant Saturable Absorptive Nonlinearity and Optical Phase Conjugation of Organic Film
Abstract：Under the low power condition the near resonant saturable absorptive nonlinearity, degenerate fourwave mixing and compensation of distort image through phase conjugation were studied experimentally in organic dye film EOSIN. The results show that this kind of nonlinear film has a good applied prospect.- 32

Soft X-ray Ion Chamber
Abstract：The technique of soft X-ray ion chamber includes the measurement of the ion current as a function of rare gas pressure in the ion chamber. The true photoionization current, and hence absolute photon flux, is obtained by ex- trapclating ion current to zero gas pressure. This paper describes measurement of the absolute photon flux at He Ⅱ25.6nm and Ckα4. 47nm.- 54

Soft X-ray and VUV Reflectometer
Abstract：Soft X-ray and VUV reflectometer system consists of VUV source, monochromator, reflectometer, electronics unit and microcomputer. The evaluation of optical mirrors, gratings and image system can be completed by this system. The vacuum chamber of the reflectometer is 800mm in diameter by 1200mm in length. The system can be operated from 25nm to 100nm. The sample stage permits rotation with respect to incident beam with resolution of 0.03 degree and a travel range extending between 0 and 90 degree.- 35

Spatial Frequency Effect on Binocular Summation of Contrast Detection
Abstract：In this paper the problem of binocular summation has been investigated by means of the apparatus and self-produced software. Calculation and Analysis of the Disc Wavegenerator's Main Parameters of Structure
Abstract：In this paper the relation between disc wavegenerator's main parameters (eccentricity distancee, radius of disc Rd) and the surrouding angle γ of the flexspline with disc are deduced using mechanics principle and elasticity shell theory. In addition, the software series for design and meshing performance analysis are developed. On basis of these, the relation curve between γ and meshing performance are abtained. The specific way for determining γ, e and Rd provided the design method and basis of it.- 35

Experimental Regularities of Suppressing Chatter with Unseparating Type Ultrasonic Vibration Turning(STUVT)
Abstract：Using the power spectrum analysis technique we prove the characteristic of suppressing chatter in STUVT which was found by Janet Devine（1979）and use the perpendicular testing design to determain the affecting degrees of the main parameters for reducing the effect. This paper gives the affecting regularities on reducing indexr r of some parameters, including the turning speed vo, the ultrasonic vibration amplitude of the tool tip A and their collocation （v0 ×A）.These results are verified by the reducing chatter theory of STUVT which was advanced by authors in literatures[1][6][7]- 46

CCD Star Tracker
Abstract：CCD star tracker has developed rapidly for various space application since 1970's. This paper describes design consideration, system construction, and operation princple of XG-1 CCD star tracker developed in CIOFM.In the system a single-chip computer is used to control CCD integration time and threshold selection. Due to centroiding algorithm is adopted the subpixel accuracy is obtained.The test results given in the end of this paper show that stationary accuracy of the star tracker is better than 2 arcsec (rms) and the stars with magnitude of 6.4 can be tracked steadily.- 36

Abstract：The Chinese Optical Abstracts (COA) is a practical computer information retrieval systems. It contained 23,000 records which included title, author sourse, classification, subject words etc.It has been established by MICROCDS/ ISIS software on the AST/P286 computer.Users may find every document by 12 entrances, also may realize input and output through ISO-2709 standard data format.Systems are operated by menu. COA's contents, functions, data structure, and programs structure are described and discussed followed by retrieval methods.- 39

Soft X-ray Multilayers Fabricated by Ion-beam Sputtering
Abstract：This paper introduces the research work on the experiment and fabrication of soft X-ray multilayers which were fabricated by the ion-beam sputtering coating machine developed in this institute, also describes the operating principle of the ion-beam coating machine, the main technology parameter and so on.Finally the measurement results of some samples tested by small angle X-ray diffractometer was presented.- 41
