Abstract:In large optical instruments, there are always applications of precision worm-wormgear or gears for transmission of azimuth axis and elevation axis. Low efficiency and low wear resistance are the chief disadvantages of the former, although the latter verifies some improvement in transmisslon, but the fabrication cost is rather high. In consideration of the advantages of harmonic gear drive, we have approached to use this new transmission in a large optical instrument. It has been shown that this transmission system has advantages of good structure character, high accuracy and low backlash. Some experimental results from our research work also will be illustrated in this paper.
Abstract:This paper tries to proceed from the purpose of increasing economic benefits of optical systems, and to make a proposal in the thought, method and calculation formulae for making optical tolerance. In the suggested method, the target function is minimum cost, the restraint conditions are the permitted variation of MTF value and manufacturing ability.

Abstract:It is a difficult problem to examine optical accurate elements by means of isothick interference with a tolerance of less than one fourth of a wavelength. This article establishes the relations between interference colours and tolerance from a quantitative analysis, proves the principle of examining optical accurate elements and advances specific examining methods. These can improve and pledge to the higher quality requirements which is advanced by the fields of the photoelectric guidance systems, military, photography, remote sensing, range finding and so on, as processing optical accurate elements.
Abstract:This paper relates the principles of a grating read head of small size, in which an aspherieal lens is adopted, and of the digital display device matching with the read head. The principles of the circuit and optical system, mechanical construction design of the grating read head and adjusting method of the system are described. The measuring error of the whole system is analysed. The read head is simple in structure and reliable in use It has been used widely in a variety of areas of production,the efficiency is good.
Abstract:In this work a useful glass composition, which contains rather low GeO2, was obtained. The relationship between the properties and the glass compositions of Al-Ca glasses was investigated.
Abstract:The paper presents a mathematics model, program design and experiments of computer simulation for the data film of SAR. The results show that the method discussed here has many advantages such as high accuracy of calculation, accurate distance between subject points, no limitation by parameters, flexibility and simplicity. It is an indispensable experiment mean for testing optical processor to use data simulation film.
Abstract:The key of realizing convolution filter, which processes discrete signals, is to design expectant frequency transformation of filters. Although the ideal lowpass filters in theory can restrain noise and improve signal-noise ratio of the system, its time function is an infinite long sequence. In practice, this sequence must be truncated to a finite number of terms, and then gibbs phenomenon will arise and lead to the frequency spectrum distortion. This paper discribes an optimal frequency transformation of filter which has minimum gibbs phenomenon after truncated by time window. The truncation error corresponding different time window length is analysed. The ability of restraining noise of the filter is also discussed. Finally, the block diagram of doing digital filter is given out, and the system is verified by experiment.
Abstract:This paper analyses the problems of precision and computing method of the gear hobber for processing high prime gear. The method and programm for computing the machine intermediate wheel using the electric computer are advanced. Divided gear and differential gear of all kinds of high prime workpieces that can be processed by YM3150E gear hobber are computed.
