Abstract:The electric and spectroscopic characters of a Penning discharge VUV source developed in the institute have been measured. The results of the measurements proved that this source can produce a great number of intense lines which cover the spectral gap between soft X-ray and VUV therefore, it is particularity adapted to the use in the XUV spectral region.
Abstract:This paper introduces a device in which a microchannel plate is applied to a vacuum ultroviolet spectrometer as an imaging detector. We have observed and photographed many atomic spectrum lines of several gas elements clearly in the region between 60-190nm. Main characteristics using this device as a detector is analysed and the research work we will continue is discussed.
Abstract:This paper firstly gives a brief review about the history of amorphous semiconductor and the rapid progress in hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si:H) film in recent years. Following that, the possibility and advantage of a-Si:H film to be applied to the target of TV camera tube are shown. It has been demonstrated that the TV camera tube using the a-Si:H film target have prospective performances, such as high resolution (more than 800 TV Lines), high sensitivity (100nA/lx, 700μA/lm). favorable spectral response for colour TV. At last, the unsolved problem is mentioned and the practical possibility for the use of the a-Si:H camera tube is discussed.
Abstract:The piano diamond smoothing technology by adjusting bias center and small wobble amplitude has been obtained based on the piano homogeneous cutting principle. The smoothing tool block was designed and the working technology of smoothoing tool block was determined. A lot of tests has been conducted and good results have been got.
Abstract:The construction and performance of a high resolution grating monochromator are described and analysed in this paper. The resolusion of the monochromator is proved to be better than 0.007nm by testing.
Abstract:According to Namioka’s geometrical design theory of holographic concave gratings, we describe the design of concave holographic and Ⅳ-type aberration-reduced toroidal holographic gratings, and show the design programs in the paper. The raytracing calculation has shown that the programs caw be used to design holographic gratmg monochromators having comparatively good image quality.
Abstract:This paper analyses the total construction of a modern microcomputerized spectrophotometer and describes an applicable method of computer aided chemistry analysis in design of the instrumental function.
Abstract:The tomography method with scattering light is that a crystal is scanned with a beam of light. Meanwhile, like a X-ray topograph, the topograph of scanning light from the crystal is taken with a camera. Through the scanning topograph, the imperfections and the Characteristics of the crystal can be known. This method can be used as nondestructive three-dimensional analysis of imperfections. As long as the crystal is transparent to the scanning wave-length, the crystal imperfections can be observed by this method. The method is excellent, especislly for the crystals which have large X-ray mass-absorbing coefficients as fine-made slice used in X-ray observation is unnecessary. This method can also be used to test diamond, jewel and so on nondestructively. In this paper, the principle and experiment about the tomography method are introduced.
Abstract:During last few years some important progresses in optical design and evaluation of VUV spectrometer, multi-layered coatings for VUV and soft X-ray ranges grating ruling, plasma spectroscopy and laser spectroscopy have been got at optics and spectroscopy division which is headed by prof. Namioka and belongs to Research Institute for Scientific Measurements, Tohoku University, Japan. These achievements have produced great impacts on VUV and soft X-ray research field at home and abroad This paper will give a brief introduction and description about these aspects.
