Problems are discussed and suggestions are proposed for the further researches.
Abstract:The progress of making zone plate and gold transmission grating as diffraction elements in soft X-ray region are described in detail. Such elements made in this lab. Had already been used in a beam line of synchrotron radiation and some experiments of high temperature plasma diagnostios. Results and progress of researches at present stage are listed and the project of next step are discussed.
Abstract:The fabrication technology and testing of optical elements at shoft X-ray wave band are described in this paper. It deals with the research purpose, background and research summary in China, and new developments on the research works in CIOFM recently. Author presents some examples to explain supersmooth fabrication methods, features and testing of supersmooth surface roughness and figure. The test results show that the surface roughness is better than 0.5 nm RMS and has been up to the world level. Finally, the resesarch topic and aim are presented in the three years recently.
Abstract:A high intensity soft X-ray source has been developed in this laboratory by using gas puff Z-pinch plasma. The working principles are described and the dependence of X-ray radiation on operating parameters (such as charged voltage, gas pressure, etc.) are discussed. The X-ray irradiation rate are tested by using heat-electric stack, and the measuerements of pulsed X-ray using XRD show that the total energy of X-ray is greater than 100 J, the irradiating time is about 100 ns, and the power is greater than 109 W.
Abstract:The principles and current research results of laser produced high temperature plasma are shortly reviewed. X-ray radiation form such plasma and the dependence of X-ray radiation on target materials and laser parameters (such as power pulse width, wayelength, etc.) are described. The applications of laser plasma as X-ray source in X-ray lithography, X-ray microscopy are discussed.
Abstract:For soft X-ray radiometry source and detector standards are required. Changchun lnstitute of Optics and Fine Mechanics supports a research and development program in the vacuum ultraviolet and soft X-ray region of the spectrum with the goal of providing radiometric source and detector standards for measurement applications. The primary standard used in these calibrations is a rare gas ionization chamber. Calibrated Al2O3 diodes are available as transfer detector standards with a calibration uncertainty of ?6%.
Abstract:This institute has developed soft X-ray strip cameras of 5 models since 1984, and these strip cameras have been used in time resolution plasma diagnostics. The process and results in the development and calibrations are presented in this paper.
Abstract:This paper reports brieftly the scattering theroy, the testing method and facility system for measuring the supersmoothed surface roughness by using soft X-ray scattering method.
Abstract:The theory and current development of different typical soft X-ray detectors are described. Studied researches are concluded. For current requirement of soft X-ray research, A wide-response, photo counting detector with Csl photocathod and channel electron multiplier is illustrated.
