Abstract:Unstructured and highly detailed meshes need to be effectively represented in many applications. Accompanied with wavelets, hierarchical multiresolution meshes can be in charge of this effective representation. To perform this multiresolution representation with wavelets, an available function space needs to be constructed and defined over the general triangulated surface meshes. To employ an effective method to accomplish the construction of a continuous parameterization of arbitrary meshes over a simple domain is a key problem. The paper proposes a fast parameterization method based on geodesic polar map that can be effectively served in multiresolution surface construction. Compared with previous methods, the construction process given in the paper can save a lot of computation time and maintain fine visual result.
Abstract:The paper discusses the basic theory of optical sectioning microscopy, and also analyzes the ill posed problem caused by the degradation in fluorescence images resulting from the singularity of point-spread function circular matrix of the microscope system. By applying the singular value decomposition, the bigger eigenvalues are selected and the ill posed problem is solved. With the fast Fourier transform, this problem is transformed from space to frequency domain, which simplifies the computation process. Finally, a good result is achieved.

Abstract:Wavelet transform is characterized by multi-resolution, which presents Mallat pyramid structure. It coincides well with the way by which people distinguish object from coarse to fineness and from large to tiny. In addition, the wavelet transform also has many advantages, such as reducing image noise, simplifying calculations, and embodying target image characteristic point. This paper highlights a method of target recognition by wavelet transform.

Abstract:The paper briefly introduces the monochromatic and structure principles, and also analyses the height error of the reflective beam of the monochromator in synchrotron radiation, which is decided by what the rotational axis and the angle between the diffracting surface of crystal and the slide depart from the theoretical position, and gets the relation between the width of the facula focused and the driving precision of the bender, offering the theoretical base for the installment and movement of the two crystals. When ΔS≤31μm、Δα≤1′, height error of the reflected beam is Δh≤25μm, when the travel of micropositioner is more than 1mm, the precision is less than 1.25μm and the width of the facula focused is less than 0.5mm, and when ΔR≤0.75%R(R is the curved radius of crystal), the crystal may not be beat.

Abstract:This paper deals with a novel approach to generating optimal smooth trajectory. Giving the start point and the target point in the workplace of the manipulator, the authors put forward the minimal energy trajectory that minimizes the integral of squared acceleration in each ROF, which is solved by a numerical iterative procedure that is devised for a solution of a constrained boundary value problem. The results show that the planned trajectories are not only smooth but also safe with optimal velocity and acceleration profile.
Abstract:The paper studies the silicon based micromachined microstrip patch antenna, and an air cavity fabricated by silicon micromachining. A mixed structure consisting of silicon and air cavity underneath the metal patch results in a low dielectric constant substrate. The equivalent dielectric constant of the mixed structure substrate and the relevant parameters of the antenna are studied. The calculated results are compared with the measured results.
Abstract:The focus of the paper is on the coordinate model and calibration of multi-joint type CMM. Begining with a generalized model of a pair unit, by which the coordinate model of a Multi-Joint Type 3D Scanner (MJT3DS) system can be easily deduced. The paper presents a new approach to the calibration of parameters in the model. Based on the real-valued genetic algorithm, the calibration algorithm is superior in many respects to the linear algorithm applying least square and iterative algorithm. The feasibility and robustness of this algorithm have been proved by computer simulation.
