Then, a quadrant photodiode was used to detect the backscatter light of a microsphere captured by the tweezer and t

    Vol. 24, Issue 8, Pages: 1840-1845(2016) DOI: 10.3788/OPE.20162408.1840
Abstract:When the differential image motion monitor method is used to measure the atmospheric coherence length, it needs a number of frames recorded with objective motions. Therefore, this paper proposes a simultaneous measuring method of the atmospheric coherence length based on the wavefront structure function for spatial objective. The method uses a Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensor to measure the Zernike coefficients of a frame of aberrated wavefront with short exposure. Then, it subtracts the initial aberration o

    Vol. 24, Issue 10, Pages: 2377-2383(2016) DOI: 10.3788/OPE.20162410.2377
Abstract:Based on Giant Magnetostritive Materials(GMMs), a novel GMM-FBG (Fiber Brager Grating) current sensor with automatic temperature compensation is proposed by combing a sensing fiber Bragg grating (S-FBG) and an auxiliary fiber Bragg grating (A-FBG). The sensor cascades the S-FBG and the A-FBG and pasts them crossly on the GMM bars, then puts them into a magnetic circuit consisted of the ferrites. The radial direction of S-FBG is controlled the same as the direction of magnetic field, and that of the A-FBG is
