Abstract:By means of IR, Raman, x-ray, RTEM and DTA, the fundamental properties and structure of glass in the Al(PO3)3-NaBF4AlF3 system have been investigated. The phase separation mechanism and relations between the phase separation and crystallization have been obtained. The experimental results indicate that glass of this system shows metaphosphate glass strueture in high phosphate content region. The structure will gradually change from meta phosphate to phyrophosphate as the aluminium metaphosphate content decreases. The phase separation mechanism of the system is nucleation and growth mechanism. The growth rule of phase dispersed paticles obyes to the diffusion—controlled mechanism. The phase separation results in complet crystallization

Abstract:Tens of doped BaF2 crystals have been grown. Their scintillation and radiation resistence properties have been investigated. The present results have been interpreted. The model of[F2]colour center has been proposed firstly to explain the origin and phenomena of the 220 nm fast component observed in BaF2 crystal.

Abstract:The paper gives a brief comment on the wear mechanisms,wear-resistant materials of powder metallurgy, and transformation harden by laser treatment. To increase the working life of automotive parts of powder metallurgy, the authors have made 13 kinds of pouder metallurgy materials transformation harden by lasers, and found out theoptimum parameters of laser treatinent by design of experiments.Micrographes have shown that transformation of lamellar pearlite into lath martensites takes place on the laser-treated surfaces. The mierohardness on the treated surface is increased 2—5 times more than that on original surface. The wear propcrtics, which are evaluated by weight analysis, have been improvcd remarkably. The models based on the results of experiments indicate that the wear mechanisms on the laser treated surfaces are much different that on original surface.
