Abstract:The paper reports our proceedings on the compacting techniques of laser systems:form the point of view of design,we investigated the coupling efficiency of tight-pumped system. We have taken a series experiments or the diode-pumped Nd:YVO4 laser,including high-repetition rate Qswitching and single-axial-node prelase Q-switching;We develop the steady-state mode-lacking theory and obtain calculationformula of the pulse width of actively mode-locking with the consid- eration of the self-phase-molulation of the laser medium. The continuous wave mode-locking is achieved on a Nd:YVO, laer pumped by a borne-shade LD with pulse width of 43 ps.Self- mode-locking of Ti:sapphir:laser is achieved. The steady-state pule width is 24.6 fs. Spectrum width FWHIVI as wide as 5' nm is also achieved. We calculate the working properties of the dou- ble-medium amplifier and vestigate several questions in CPA. The formula of minimum pulse width that cou5d be achievd in CPA is obtained. Gain saturation in chirped pulse amplification is also researched. It is founcthat the lower SNft corresponds to spectrum aberration. The concept of non-resonate-amplification(NRA) is proposed to reform the spectrum aberration and increase the SNR of compressed ptses.
Abstract:A method to obtain shore pulses or ultrashort pulses im ctuenched dye laser pumped by extimer laser was described in this paper Mechanics of vltrashort pulses generation in ctuertched dye lasers was described theoretically. A 30 ps pulse at 496 nm was obtained in our experiments.
Abstract:Femtosecond laser pulse measurement techniques research were dune,which is very inporrant work in this thesis. Ultrashort pulse duration measurement,pulse reconstruction arxcl short pulse solid lasers were researched by the author.A rotating-mirrors autocorreLstor to measure femtosecond pulses was designed and manufactured. It has many advantages,such as simple and quick adjustment,high resolution,wide measuring range, etc. Nearing to 20 fs output from our femtasecond Ti:Sapphire laser has been measured with the autocarrelator. Some sham pulse solid laser works were also done in the thesis.

Abstract:In this paper,a flashlamp-pumped Ti:Al2O3 Iaser with strong simmer currents is studied. A technique of double simmer cureents is used and the influence caused by strong simmer current on the laser output energy is studied. We find that laser efficiency increases when stmng simmer current is used. The appropriate simmer current is 1.6 A. Laser energy more than 600 mJ and over-all effciency 0.16% are obtained. Ti:Al2O3 laser has a wide tuning range and 80 nm tuning range is obtained from a prism dispersion cativy.

Abstract:Stimulated Raman scattering in hydrogen pumped by ps Iaser (λ=532 nm),1st to 3th order Stokes lines and 1st to 3th anti-Stokes lines have been observed. When a Optical Waveguide was put in H2-cell pumped by ps laser (λ=1064 nm) we observed 2st line (λ=9.18μm).Main factors such as pressure,the energy of pump laser,Optical waveguide affecting the energy conversion efficiency are investigated. Pressure also affected H2 Stimulated Raman Scattering threshold. The experimental results are well coincident with theory.
Abstract:Making Self Mode Locking experiment using the 3 mrn Ti:sapphire short rod and the improved asymmetric Z shape folding configuration,with quartz prisms as dispersion compensation element,we achieve low threshold self Mode Locking operation with 5 W pumping Argon power and soft-aperture mode Locking without any modulating element. The pulse duration is 15 fs with 80 ntn spectrum bandwidth. The X00 mW average power is obtained. Using the SML Ti:sapphire laser as oscillator,the Ti:sapphire ferntosecond chirping pulse regenerative amplification is done. The amplified pulse repetition is 5 kHz,the single pulse energy is 165μJ.The 26 nm bandwidth supporting 26 fs is obtained.
Abstract:This thesis represents the preliminary results of normal-incidence Mo/B4C soft X-ray multi-layer for 8.0 nm, The fabrication procedure including material selection,the design and perfor-mfince simulation of soft X-ray multilayers,and coating technique by magnetron sputtering is discussed. The microstructure of samples are characterized by low-angle X-ray diffraction. These multilayer mirrors will be used in the double-path ezperiments of X-ray laser researches.
Abstract:The preparation procedure,Optical properties and performances of cyanine-polymer films, phthalocyanine-polymer films and phthalocyanine-ormosil (organic modified silicate)films,were studied in this paper. Both of cyanine-PVA(polyvinyl alcohol)-diactone alcohol solution and phthalocyanine-PMMA (polymethyal rnethacrylate)-tetrachloroethane sfllution are Newtianian liquid, sol large and uniform cyanine-PVA and Phthalocyanine-PMMA firns can be obtained by spin-coating process. Far YP12-D1Q1-P}IA film,58 dB CNh were obtained at opfimurn recording condition(2 m/s,600 kHz, 5.5 mVP).Eoth of C and CNR were linearly related to lg of reflectance change of the film before and after recording. The introduction of four propyl groups into VOPc molecule has great effect an the phase transition behavior .spectroscopic and optical properties.
Abstract:The structure and the electrochromism device of all-solid-state electrochromic device are described. The effects of preparation conditions on the properties of WO3 film and V2Q5 film are discussed.A novel lithiation of electrochromic films is proposed. The increasing of ionization and lithiation can be obtained by egun evaporating Li on the electrochromic films. Research on the ion conductivity and mechanism of LiAlF4 film are studied. The transmissive and reflective electrochromic devices ae fabricated and the transmittance and the reflecEance can be varied from 50% to 5% and 70% to 20% respectively.The switching time is about 10 to 20 seconds and the life dime is 104 about cycles.
Abstract:For the first time,by MIS test structure,we have investigated a new type of passivation film GdTe/ZnS for HgCdTe.With proper processing conditions,the interface electicaI properties are: the flat band voltage Vfb≈0,the fixed charge density~-4.0×1010cm-2,the slow state density~5.1×1010cm-2,and the interface state density~2.7×1011cm-2eV-1.These results show CdTe/ZnS film is superior to ZnS,and suitable for passivation of HgCdTe PV devices.We have also investigated single layer ZnS and anodic oxideICdTe/ZnS triple Iayer film. And set up a mea-surement system for MIS GV/GV characteristics,including related hardware and software.
Abstract:In this paper,the optical absorption in reflectance multilayer coatings has been studied. The simulating expressions of interface absorption coefficients of coatings are obtained. The transient temperature distribution,optical distortion and damage mechanism resulting in an annular high power continuous wave (CW) laser radiation have been studied in detail. Thermal distortion of optical components under CW Oxygen Iodine Laser (COIL) radiation has been measured by Twyman-Green interferometer, The results of the comparison of the experimental results to the theoretical results show that experimental results are consistent with theoretical results.
Abstract:A series of charateristic optimization design algorithms have been proposed after our carefully research on the current binary optics design methods,which include the nerval network algorithm,the virtual field modulating algorithm and the adaptive local modulating algorithm. Arround these algorithms,the design of binary phase gratings,phase-only beam flatters and extended Fresnel lens(The Fresnel lens with extended feature size) will be introduced in this paper. Finally,the fabrication results will be reported generally.

Abstract:Femtosecond pulse laser holography now has two main applications:light-in-flight recording method and imaging through highly scattering medium Cexpecially through living tissue).Beijing aimed at the second application,this paper has got initial results. The whole system of electronic holography has been built up. It includes digital reconstruction software,CCD camera and image processor. Femtosecond hologram of a thin wire in air has been recorded using the established system.It lays a foundation for further investigation of imaging through highly scattering medium.

Abstract:A 3-D Qptaelectranic Hybrid Parallel Processing Array System is constructed. This paper introduces the architecture of this system. Processor array is composed of loosely coupled distreihuted Army of Ants(AA) processing elements(PE). The design scheme and concepts of optical interconnection network used in the computing system is also presented. Qptical intercannection network consists Df crossbar switching network and optical fiber interconnect communication channels, The topology of network can be dynamically reconfigured controlled by management computer and has reconfiguration multiplicity. It capitalizes on the advantages of optical interconrtect such as massive parallelifim,large capabiltiy and the programming flexibility of electronic deraces.
Abstract:Silver gallium (1-x)diselende and x disulphur [AgGa(Se1-xSx)2] is an excellent 1R non-linear materials.Properties of phase matching for type I optical parametric oscillation for AgGa(Se1-xSx)2 were investigated and AgGa(Se1-xSx)2 BPD type I angular tuning curves with available Nd:YAG λ=1.06 μm pump sources were calculated in detail in this thesis. Optical-absorption edge,refractive index and birefringence can be tailored by changing the composition of the mixed crystal. Growth of AgGa(Se1-xSx)2 single crystals with =0.2,0.5 & 0.75 by Bridgman technique were discussed in this thesis. The optical transparency of as-grown crystals have been substantially improved by annealing in the presence of AgGa(Se1-xSx)2 powder.Measurernent of optical absorption spectrum for mixed crystals indicate that the useful transmission range was extended to shorter wavelength, which agrees well with theoretical predication.

Abstract:Wavefront sensors,one of key parts of Adaptive optical System,are used to measure wavefont distortion induced by atmosphere turbulence and So on. In this thesis.several kinds of wavefront sensors,which can be used in the Adaptive optical Systern,are compared and analyxed,and the ICCD Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensor is chosen far the Laser Guide Star Adaptive optics System. According to the theoretical analyses and experimental results,the dynamic range is relative to the diameter and focal length of the lenslet and detecting wavelength. The factors affecting on the accuracy are photon noise,readout noise and duality of the lens of the sensor.
Abstract:This paper, discusses a new method to read the dot pattern information which uses CCD matrix camera to acquire image and adopts the analyzing methods of digital image-processing techniques. This method can be uses! to read the dot pattern information of any kind of high-speed photograph and cine theodolite film accurately and quickly. More over the reading system has a high cost performance ratio. In this paper the working principle of the CCD dot pattern information reading system is analyzed first,and then the processing method of dot pattern image is discussed in detail,at last the method to improve reading accuracy is listed.

Abstract:A method of detecting multiple maviug paint targets in a irnge sequence is studied in this paper, Both mavin g target characteristics and Straight Line Haugh Transform (SLHT)are analysed.a series of processes on getting images fitted to SLHT-based aproach is presented. Accarding to practical canditions,the method of constructing Tree Structure and the SLHT-based apersting on cutting off the unfit branches are described in detail. The ‘Tree Structure-SLHT branch-cutting’ method is proved efficient and less-time-carted to detect mare than 35 moving paint targets in law SNR images through fats of software simulating practices.

Abstract:Horsed on the analysis of the phataelectric controlled ga-and-stop diffraction grating ruling engine,some effective measures have been taken to improve the engine. The hardware and soft-ware of the computer unmber control spstem has been designed,which has achieved the program amplification and interpolation of the spacing signal ,and improved the resolution and the precision of the system. Experiment results have proved that the spacing repetitiveness is obviously less than 0.05 μm.
Abstract:The method of proximity photolithography is a pratical and available way in the manufactrue of grating and radial encode. The distance from mask to surface of photoresist coated on ruled blank is very important, The size of it effects on the ruling ctuality directly. such as causing edge scattering As it is very difficult to produce the exact parallel light in usual optical systems,the acteal image we get is't an ideal self-image. Therefore.a better position of the mask should be found in order to ensure the ruling quality. The relationshiop between image contrast and lithographic gap is deduced in the viwe of image contrast ui this paper, A reliable basis is prosided for selecting the best gap in actual photolithography.
Abstract:Airborne radiation scanner is a kind of expensive remote sensing instrument of great usage. In nineteen nineties.the standardization and intellectualisation o# digital part highly promotes the tharacteristicg of instruments.A research on standardisation of internal structure of real time graphical monitor and high reliability data recorder far airborne three channel imaging scanner is presented. Bath of these instrument take INTEL 80×86 as in-bed computer,and Industry Stan dard Architecture as internal digital bus. The standardized Rtructure designing method of these monitor and recorder is suitable for most airborne imaging scanners.
Abstract:The support structure,as a key component of linking the Space camera with shuttle greatly influences the system dynamical property. So the support structure must be of euough dynamical stiffness. Taking the camera and the support as research object,aiming at the support structure, this paper probes iota dynamical property of the system by means of madelling and emulatin of CAE.This Paper also calculates the displacement and stress response of shock, accelerations nd various mechanitaf load in working state. And in this paper,the modification of the structure,materiai,dimensions,damp and other parameters of the support structure is carried out. On the basis of the madified design scheme,optimum design is accomplished. This paper provides certain reference for SRSC suppart stucture design in the practial engineering.

Abstract:Doubly Motorized,Balanced Stirling Cryocooler,which is adopted by space applications,conlists of two compressors and two displacers which face against another. In order to cool down and reduce the vibration. the cryocooler must be controlled effectively over its compressor and displacer pistons' drive stroke, position,phase,frecpuency and balanced phase. In this paper,the working theory and design details of drive and control system have been presented. The system is a servo control system. It adopts a single-chip microcontroller as its main controller,realities the steady, reliable control, ,over the Stirling Cryocooler by A/D .D/A converters, The paper also introduces the qualities of the system and experiment results.
