Abstract:Micro-optics is a new branch of optics.There is considerable interest in micro-optics system made by micro-fabrication techniques to produce arrays of miniature optical componentsfor the control of light,recently.This paper reviews the present status and future potentialof research and development for micro-optics,in which includes binary optics,gradient indexoptics and fibre matrix optics, etc. Some application examples are presented so as to showpromising prospect in many feilds.
Abstract:In this work,the glass/alluminium composite was prepared by using glass as matrix and metallic alluminium as disperse phase.The toughening mechanism of this composite was proposed by measuring the fracture toughness and analysing the morphology of its fracture surface. Some Factors affecting its fracture toughness were discussed.
Abstract:On the basis of color adaptation and color contrast experiments under various viewingcircumstances of different background-colors,an equivalent color perception model is proposedas a method for predicting color perception.The model is simple and can be used accurately to predict color adaptation effects.
Abstract:In this paper,we use a new method of measuring and calculating the thickness of non-transparent film with Ellipsometer.It improves the multi-incident angle method putforward by R. M.A.Azzam. With this method two samples have been investigated(film Si on sub-stract BK7).And the results conform with those by Stepmeter.

Abstract:A Knife edge interferometer using knife edge and interferometric technique has been developed.The interferometer adopts radial shearing system,so that the large scale optics canbe tested easily. The tested result show that the accuracy of λ/20 is achieved for testing thefigures of the large optics by using this instrument.
Abstract:A new capacitlve sensor is given in this paper.Unlike the traditional parallel-plate capacitive sensor,it is a measuring instrument with the large measuring scale and high accuracy,based on the principle of fringe-field.It is well-suited for applications in automatic manufacturing and in-process measurements with the prop-erties of fast response,rugged construction and small size.In this paper,we give the detail description of the principle of measuring method,mathematical deduction and experiments. Experimental results show that this fringe-field capacitive sensor has a wide area of applications.

Abstract:This paper addresses an approach for dynamic parameters estimation in frequency domain. First,an outline of frequency domain modeling and its development is presented.The approach discussed here involes two step algorithm:an estimate of the spectral density function from input-output signals of a linear system and an estimate of its dynamic parameter from frequency response data obtained in the first step.Some parameter estimation algorithms are derived by minimizing a unified from of loss function using different selections of weights. At last,wide variety of application in electromechanical systems such as measurement,simulation,compensation and control is fuly discussed.

Abstract:This paper describes the design of a novel high accuracy optical fiber fine tuning device.We have made the constructure more reasonable and decreased the cost by determining the optimal designing accuracy index.The tuning of each dimension is quadrature independent,which makes the tuning more convenient.The device has the high radical tuning accuracy of less than 0.1μm.
Abstract:A new method for measuring three dimensional shape of objects is proposed.The method projects uniformlight and a grid pattern coded in a pseudo random M-sequence on objects,and determines deformation of the grid pattern on the objects from the images by CCD camera based on the decoding of the M-sequence. The coordinates of the object points are calculated by triangulation. The validity of the method is confirmed by experiments.the advan-tages of the metbod are that it needs only two images obtained by two projections and that the decoding is not influenced by the color and/or the reflectance of objects.
Abstract:Based on long leadscrew lead measurement with laser interferometer,a simple and con-venient optical method used to compensate the Abbe error is proposed.And the constructionparameters of the optical system as well as the effectiveness certificate of the method are alsopresented in the paper.This optical system is very simple and can be realized conveniently.It can be used to compensate the Abbe error of some optical length measuring instruments inorder to improve its measuring accuracy.
Abstract:In LSI production,an important means of guaranteeing quality is to test the linewidthof photomasks and wafers on line,This paper introduces an automatic linewidth measuring instrument with high accuracy,elaborates its principle,constitution and some problems in design. The tests show:its repeatabiiity is up to±0.005μm,accuracy is ±0.02μm.
Abstract:The paper introduces the design and test for Model CDMS-1 Video Scanning LinewidthMeasurement System developped by Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics.Thelinewidth measurement technolog is mainly used in IC manufacture and mask quality control.This instrument gains high acctiracy by using computer digital image processing technology.The test result of this measurement system shows that all expected system specifications are achieved.
