Abstract:Iceland spar is a kind of valuable opticalcrystal. It is very difficult to machine this crystaldue to its perfect cleavage and brittleness. Conventional machining methods used in produc-tion often result in low productivity and high reject rate。 The machining techniques for ice-land spar make a great advance as technological progress. In this paper,the present situationof machining techniques for iceland spar crystal at home and abroad and existing problemsare reviewed. Aslo, new development in recent years is introduced.Immediate problemsneed to be solved at present are proposed. This paper provides guides for further researchand production practices

Abstract:The preliminary experiment of fabricating soft X-ray multilayer by DC-RF planar mag-netron sputtering is described. Under appropriate working conditions,multilayers can be au-tomatically deposited according to designed period (thickness)using computer controlledtiming method. The results of X-ray small angle diffraction show that the film thickness ac-curacv is about 0.1nm.
Abstract:The metal layer thickness of induced transmission filter is first determined according topotential transmittance concept.Then a correct design of induced transmission filter is obtained without complex correction. How to reduce band width and suppress background is also discussed.

Abstract:The Principle of image measurement system is that the geometrical parameters are ob-tained by processing the image edge of the object. For improving the accuracy of the imagemeasurement system, this paper proposed a crossed window automatic edge detection algo-rithem which has the properties of holding edge, reducing noise and adjusting threshold auto-matically in case of nonuniformluminary, and furthermore, a new subpixel edge detection al-gorithem based on polynominal interplation is presnte. By the algorithems the measuringresolution of CCD camera in image measurement system might be improved by about 60 times.
Abstract:Wavelet transform is a new method for signal and image processing. Unlike Fouriortransform, its integral kernel is unfixed. Its basis set is produced by mother function via dilation and shift operation, In this paper, the general theory of the wavelet transform(WT) isgiven. A new normolization method is discribed and the admissible condition of inversewavelet transform under this case is also derived.

Abstract:The precision working station is a typical mechanism in manufacturing equipment for VLSI, its accuracy being doubtlessly of significance. Based on the equipment in the authors'laboratory, a dynamic testing system for errors of precision working station is developed, inwhich frequency-division, phase-fitting,and error-calculation are carried out by an 8098 microcontroller, and hence the data collection and the data processing are integrated.The system is flexible and easy to use with a larger range of phase-fitting and a higher measuring accuracy.
