Abstract:The achievements of fiber optical gyro in the last 20 years of research and development are reviewed in this paper.The theory,methods of noises eliminating and measurement of the two leading types of Interferometric FOG and Resonant FOG are described in detail.The applications of different performance FOGs are presented with figures and examples.

Abstract:Image measuring technique which is a new technique in the field of measurement forms of late years.In the measurement of dimention,shap,and deformation for 3-D object,the measurement,and surface testing of complex precision components for microelement,and industrial inspection as well as remote sensing measurement etc.,it finds wide use.This paper will survey the current state of the technique and it's development.  
Abstract:A new Ag+-CaO-P2O5 glass was prepared unde reducing condition.The absorption,excitation and emission spectra of the glasses were measured at room temperature.The absorption spectra of Ag+-CaO-P2O5 glass shows two absorption peaks,the higher energy peak at 220nm is assigned to the 4d10→4d95p1 transition and the lowr energy peak at 240nm is assigned to the 4d10→4d<95s1 transition which is related to the emission.Excitation and emission spectra of Ag+-CaO-P2O5 glass obtained by the excitation at 287nm exhibit a max-imum in the vinity of 440nm with full width at half maximum(F WHM)of 130nm.The posi-tion of the fluorescent peak shifts to longer wavelength with increasing do pant concent ration(from 0.05 to 0.25mol%).The glass containing 0.5mol%Ag2O appears the fluorescent quenching.Cu+-CaO-P2O5 glass and Ag+-Cu+-CaO-P2O5 glass w ere prepared by weakly reducing condition.T he luminescent characteristics of these glasses were compared with that of Ag+-CaO-P2O5 glass.  
Abstract:A theoretical model is developed to describe the process of laser induced damage of dielectrics with ultrashort pluses,in which the multiphoton ionization,avalanche ionization,electron ion recombination,and the electron diffusion are taken into account.By assuming a Gaussian temporal shape of laser pulse,some numerical results of the threshold dependence on pulse duration are presented.For pulse length longer than 10ps,the numerical results agree well with the square root relation.For pulse length of subpicosecond,our model principally explains the opposite experimental results of Du et al's (Appl.Phys.Lett.,64,3071(1994)and Stuart el al's (Phys.Rev.Lett,74,2248(1995) by properly choosing the criterion of damage.  
Abstract:In this paper we report a nonlinear elements of laser imaging racoder and calibration technolgoy of nonlinear.In addition,we report two important components in the adjustment of the analog circuit:“gain” and “offses” and methods of the control circuit for “gain” and offses adjustment.

Abstract:On the equal lightness(V)section of Munsell color system, there is a obviously contradiction between visual perception brightness and lightness. To solve the problem, the present study has made a through analysis for Munsell color system and the relation between the lightness value(V), the luminance factor(Y)and human subjective brightness has been established through the hyterochromatic brightness matching experiment.

Abstract:This paper introduces the calculating and analyzing method of scan system using space remote sensor.The polarization sensitivity of three scan system is analyzed and calculated,and new scan system is given.  
Abstract:In this paper,a polarization maintaining fiber optic gyro with Y junction multi function integrated optics circuit and all digital closed loop signal processing electronics has been reported.Test results show that the bias stability is 04(°/h),and the scale factor linearity is better than 800ppm over the whole dynamic range of the FOG.This compact FOG is a very good candidate for high performance tactical grade applications.  
Abstract:This paper gives the general equations about the profile of hob by means of setting up the mathematical model ,transferring a series of formula , and studying the process in depth. Finally, the problem of the precious number of sand-wheel outline is solved successfully. It is very useful of improving the manufacturing technology of tools.  
Abstract:Aerostatic axial systems with super high rotary accuacy are the main parts of optical disc grooving machines. Research process of an aerostatic bearing is discussed in detail in this article. The design and calculation prove reasonable and correct by comparison between experimental and theorical values. Processing and assembly technology are successful. After adjustment, rotary accuracy of main shaft is less than 0.0147μm which can meet the operating requirement of less than 0.05μm. This has come up to advanced world standards of 1980s.

Abstract:In this paper, FEM is used to analyze systematically the effect about the dimensions of the elastic body of vibrator versus its natural frequency. Such gives the theoretic base for the motor's design and fabrication. The natural frequency of the vibrator is calculated by FEM. The vibration mode of the vibrator's prototype is measured, and the calculated result of FEM is verified.

Abstract:Placing a diffractive optical element(DOE) on the incident laser beam to improve the depth of focus,the DOE'S aperture is variable.When the radius of the aperture changes,the depth of focus changes too.The DOE's phase distribution can be determined by the input beams's and the output beam's amplitude distributions with a Y G algorithm.The results of computing show that the depth of focus is much larger than that of without DOE.

Abstract:We present a non optical shear force detection system for tip sample distant control in scanning near field optical microscopes.When the vibrating tip is damped by the shear force,the voltage of the tip is decreased.Detecting this decrement tip sample distance can be easily controlled.Using the method,we can easily put the tip into the working area and keep the apposite height while the tip is scanning.We measure the curve of the frequency dependence of the induced voltage on the tip system and the curve of shear force signal versus tip sample distance.We demonstrate the performance of our distance control on a surface of a CD with the scanning range 4μm×4μm.

Abstract:This paper describes measuring principle of the photo electric automatic refractometer with high precision in the wavelength range 365 to 12000nm and its constraction and discusses the sources of error.The refractive indices of different optical materials are measured with this instrument.The measuring uncertainies of better than 3?10-6 and 3?10-5 in the wavelength range of 365 to 2600 nm and 2600 to 12000 nm are obtained,respectively.

Abstract:In this paper the various methods of test and measurement for the homogeneity of the large size and high quality optical glass are studied.The kinife edge interferometer is emphatically discussed,whose advantages are simple structure,easy to assemble and to calibrate,convenient to use ,easy to judge and to read,and the data can be analyzed and processed by following methods such as the vision,the photography,and the pickup camera as well as the computer,and the high sensitivity of the shadow method and the high precision of interference method can be combined,and the optical glass size tested and measured is not limited.  
Abstract:The kinds of laser scanner and its functions in the laser scanning microscope are proposed. By analyzing the scanning galvanometer the effect of offset between reflector surface and its rotate axis is given quantitatively. In theoretical analysis, the effect on receiving signal by radial beat of galvanometer is given qualitatively. The requirement on scanning galvanometer is given during the practical using.

Abstract:An indirect measuring method is introduced in this paper, which has been applied to the track pitch measurement on the master during cutting process by a laser disc cutting machine . This method derives itself from the characteristics of mechanical system and electronic control system in the machine and runs well in practical use.
